I spent most of this week at AIS Bali for Principal and Academic Advisor meetings, as well as our quarterly Yayasan Board Meeting. It’s always a pleasure to visit the Bali campus and collaborate with Mr John and his team. They are preparing to officially open their second new building this year—an exciting development that has enabled them to expand subject offerings and accommodate growing enrolments. Before leaving, I had the opportunity to join our Year 12 Chemistry students as they began their Internal Assessments (IA), which contribute 20% of their final IB grade. It was wonderful to see so many Year 10 students and parents at our Senior School Orientation evening. This event gave families a valuable overview of the IB Diploma Programme, led by Mr Dave, Mr Rob, and Mr Jeremias, followed by time with teachers to explore subject choices more deeply.

Friday 6th June - Eid Al-Adha Public Holiday

AIS will be closed on Friday 6th June for the Eid Al-Adha Public Holiday as per Indonesian Government decree.

Update on Morning Drop Offs

Thank you to all Year 5–12 parents who are now using the North Campus for morning drop-off. This change has significantly reduced congestion and created a much safer and more manageable environment for our Preschool to Year 4 students.

Additionally, all but one of our school buses now enter through the rear gate and drop students off at the rear entrance. This adjustment has further improved safety and reduced traffic at the main entrance by 15 vehicles each morning.

Term 3 Enrolment Intentions

If your family plans to leave AIS at the end of Term 2, please notify our Admissions Department as soon as possible. This information is vital as we manage new enrolments for Term 3 and begin planning staffing for 2026.

In line with our Admissions Policy, the Refundable Notice Deposit will only be returned if written notice is received by the Finance Department at least one calendar month (30 days) before your child’s last day of attendance. As Term 2 ends on Friday, 20 June, written notice must be submitted no later than Tuesday, 20 May.
