Taipans Cup 2026: Three Days of Sport, Community and Sustainability

The countdown is on! From 20–22 August, the Australian Independent School will proudly host the 2026 Taipans Cup, welcoming schools from across Jakarta and Bali for three exciting days of competition, friendship and school spirit.

This year's tournament will feature Basketball, Football, Touch Rugby, Volleyball and Dance, bringing together hundreds of student athletes who have trained tirelessly for the opportunity to represent their schools. AIS Bali will bring 35 students to also participate in the event. Over three action-packed days, spectators can expect outstanding displays of teamwork, determination and sportsmanship as students compete for the coveted Taipans Cup titles.

The Taipans Cup has grown into one of the highlights of the AIS sporting calendar. While winning is always exciting, the tournament is about much more than trophies. It is an opportunity for young people from different schools and backgrounds to build friendships, demonstrate respect for one another and experience the values that make school sport so rewarding.

This year's event also continues our commitment to environmental responsibility through the theme "Go Green." Throughout the tournament we will be encouraging sustainable practices, reducing waste where possible and promoting environmental awareness. We hope the event inspires our students to recognise that leadership extends beyond the sporting arena and includes caring for the world around us.

Parents are warmly invited to attend throughout the tournament to cheer on our students and help create the fantastic atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the Taipans Cup. Your encouragement from the sidelines makes a tremendous difference to our athletes and helps make the event memorable for every participant.

Visitors can also enjoy food and refreshments available throughout the tournament, while taking the opportunity to celebrate the talent, dedication and enthusiasm of students from schools across the region.

Join us from 20–22 August as we Play Green, Live Green and Lead Green. We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Taipans Cup!

Thank you to our amazing sponsors including Allied Movers, Nihi, AIS Medika, the PNF and parent donations
