Principal’s Highlights
Our sub-schools have been very busy over the course of the past few weeks, this week it was no different. Our Primary classes have been busy finalising some assessments with our Year 3-6 also preparing for our experiential camps programmes. We are excited by the authentic learning that will no doubt take place. It was a great start to the week with our Primary (Year 1-6) Swimming Carnival. It was a great atmosphere for students competing and working as a team. Our High Schoolers have also be finalising assessments and preparing for their Swimming Carnival next week with a successful House meetings this week. This week finished with our 2026 AIS Jakarta International Day – photos to come in next weeks’ edition of JakBytes… The learning continues until Friday Week 10.
Special times over the coming weeks – please note our calendar events this coming few weeks to the term break. Particularly our last day with at 12.30pm early leave.
Campus Advisory Council (CAC) – Meeting # 2 Tuesday 02 June
Thanks to members of our learning community that reached out to our CAC representatives with their issues or concerns. It allowed our CAC meeting to be targeted which will, in turn, lead to better outcomes for all. Thanks to our CAC parent representatives – Heather Stagg and Lina Crawford for their time and contributions. AIS Jakarta leadership will work towards achieving these goals before our next meeting in Term 3.
