Week 2 Highlights

Challenging yet rewarding week of learning for our Year 12s as they continued and concluded their mock examinations. What was the standout here is how well our Class of 2026 have conducted themselves, not out of the ordinary for this mature and determined cohort of young people, but impressive nonetheless. Well done Class of 2026 and thank you to our Year 12 parents for their support. We saw the first leadership meetings on the agenda this week with Ministries and SRC planning out what will no doubt be a rewarding and connected term of events. Some great fundraising ideas and we are definitely planning something special for Teacher Appreciation & Father’s Day celebrations. With our Taipans Cup, Primary Art Show, High School Production, High School Activities Week not to mention our Indonesian Independence Day celebrations, it’s going to be a great term of learning in lots of ways, not just in our classrooms. Have a great weekend! 

Please note in our coming week we have our PNF General Meeting. As a parent of AIS Jakarta you are welcome to attend. Just to ensure we have selected appropriate space, please let me know (dean.cummins@ais-indonesia.com) if you are attending. The meeting will start at 10.15am.

High School Prom – Have Your Say!

We're excited to announce that our High School Prom for students in Grades 9 and above will be held this October!

To make the night extra special, we're inviting students to vote for their favourite prom theme. A link to the voting form has been sent to each eligible student's school email account.

Voting closes on Saturday, 1 August, so please encourage your child to cast their vote before the deadline to help decide this year's prom theme. Every vote counts, and this is their chance to have a say in creating an unforgettable evening!
