Principal’s Highlights

Last week of the semester has continued to be exciting, full of learning opportunities in both our Primary and High Schools. This week we have farewelled a number of our students and families. I would like to extend my best wishes for the future for all families leaving us, please stay safe and please stay in touch. You will always have a learning community here and AIS Jakarta! 

We also farewelled two of our staff – Mr Herman Kruger (High School Humanities) and Ms Joan Tan (Primary Year 1 Homeroom Teacher). I would like to publicly thank you both for your service and support of our learning community and we all wish you well in your next challenge wherever that be in this world. 

We would also like to welcome new staff next semester (parents will get a chance to meet them at our PnF Welcome Back Morning Tea):

Congratulations to all involved with our Primary Year 5-6 Show, an amazing showcase of talent. And to our buddy Scientists in High School – wow what a great Science Fair it was on Thursday, the creativity and determination was clearly evident! 

Safe travels to all and I look forward to seeing you all back in Semester 2 for another fun filled semester of learning here at your AIS Jakarta!
