Week 1 Highlights
I’d like to welcome back all members of our learning community. On Monday we welcomed our new families, lots of things to remember, but please don’t worry, please just ask if you have any questions. We also formally welcomed our new staff, all settling in and feeling supported. Lastly, we also welcomed back some of our staff who were on extended leave; Ms Fani, Ms Ajeng, Ms Rizkiyah and Mr Jonny, great to have you back! Late this week our Year 12s started their mock examinations, an important part of our IB journey as we best prepare our Class of 2026 for their end-of-year examinations. I’m super confident our Year 12s have put their best foot forward and learnt many important lessons.
Just a short point two things:
Given our growing cohort of students, our drop-offs and pick-ups plan is even more important. So staying to families with students in Year 4 and below at our south campus drop-off and families with students in Year 5 and above at our north campus is even more important. Please all drivers take note of our outstanding security staff and be as responsive as you can to keep the flow moving.
As much as possible, please send your child(ren) with their food for the day and avoid any drop-offs during the day. Our Jungle Toppings team are always innovating their offerings, so we encourage parents and students making use of their menu. Parents you will see JTs new pop up coffee trolley in the outside foyer at our south campus, parents please enjoy a coffee or other hot drink at the start and end of our day.
As you settle back into learning routines, please do reach out to us if you need anything or have any questions. Communication is key to a successful relationship, so please stay in touch and if you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out to your homeroom teachers in both Primary and High Schools. Our administrative team at our south lobby are also here to support you. Please do also read our weekly JakBytes, lots of information on what is happening. In Primary you can see the week ahead learning and always take a look at items being distributed through our Parent WhatsApp Year Level groups, a great way to get the information you need!
PNF Welcome Back Morning Tea – Term 3
Thanks to our PNF Executive for organising our Welcome Back Morning Tea today (Friday). We have one of these in each term, on Friday Week 1. Great to see our parents, new and returning. A great way to meet our new staff.
