Principal’s Highlights

A shortened week once again, yet we saw a great deal of learning happening in varying forms and formats. The High School have had a preparatory week for assessments next week. Remember the ‘5Ps’ Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. Parents are encouraged to support their child(ren) this weekend as they finalise their preparations. Primary School had a special visit from New Zealand International School swimming athletes and we were able to share expertise in a friendly manner. With some excursions and a Bake Sale to raise money for our PAWS programme, its been a smaller, yet busy week.

Special Announcement - Under 16 Banned Sites Update

As many parents will be aware the Indonesian government has recently taken steps to introduce a banned list of sites for students under the age of 16. This falls in line with may other countries that have followed Australia’s legislation in this area. We wanted to assure you that here on campus we are compliant with the new Indonesian government’s banned list (Ministerial Regulation No. 9 of 2026) relating to social media under the age of 16. This includes - TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X (formerly Twitter) and Roblox. You Tube is also on this list and as of Week 7 it will be not be accessible on campus for students. Any queries, please direct them to my email – dean.cummins@ais-indonesia.com.
