The AIS Bali campus came alive with excitement, friendly competition, and school spirit on 26 May 2026 as Primary and High School students gathered for the AIS Athletics Carnival 2026.
Bringing together students from across year levels, the annual event provided an opportunity for participants to challenge themselves, represent their Banjar, and celebrate the values of teamwork and perseverance through sport. Throughout the day, students competed across a range of track and field events while classmates, teachers, and supporters filled the sidelines with encouragement and enthusiasm.
At the conclusion of a closely contested competition, Komodo Banjar emerged as the overall champion, earning the Banjar Trophy after a day of consistent performances and strong teamwork.
While the carnival celebrated athletic achievement, the event was about far more than winning medals or collecting points. It served as a reminder of the important role sport plays in developing resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging within the school community.
Students demonstrated determination in every event, whether competing for a podium finish or stepping outside their comfort zones to participate. The atmosphere throughout the day reflected a culture of encouragement, with students supporting one another regardless of the final results.
The Athletics Carnival also created opportunities for students from different age groups to connect beyond the classroom. Younger and older students came together under their respective Banjars, strengthening friendships and building a stronger sense of community across the school.
One of the defining moments of the event was the unwavering support shown by each Banjar. Cheers echoed across the field as students celebrated personal achievements, team successes, and the collective effort that made the day memorable for everyone involved.
The success of the carnival was made possible through the dedication of teachers, staff members, and event organisers who worked behind the scenes to ensure the day ran smoothly. Their efforts allowed students to enjoy a safe, engaging, and rewarding sporting experience.
As the celebrations concluded and the Banjar Trophy was presented to Komodo Banjar, the event left students with more than just competition results. It provided valuable memories, strengthened connections, and reinforced the spirit of participation that continues to define the AIS community.
The AIS Athletics Carnival 2026 once again demonstrated that while competition can inspire excellence, the true success of the day was found in the teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit displayed by every student who took part.
