Opening of New Building at AIS Bali 

I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the blessing and official opening of the new building at AIS Bali this week. The new building is the first of two that will be opened this semester to support further student growth and increased subject offerings at the other AIS campus. 

Staying Healthy in Jakarta

Dr Steven Graaf and his team from Good Practice will be attending AIS on Tuesday 11th February from 0815 in the staffroom to share information about Keeping Healthy in Jakarta which will be of great benefit to our new parents and teachers

Flu & Dengue Vaccinations

Good Practice is also offering flu and dengue vaccinations. Further information on these can be found on the flyers below or the pdf files attached to the Jakarta Bytes email. If you would like to register for either or both of these vaccinations, please follow this link. Consent forms will be provided and this price includes meeting with the doctor. Payment can be made on the spot by card.

PnF Meeting & AGM

Our Parents and Friends (PnF) Association will hold their first meeting at 8:00am on Thursday 20th February. This will be a chance for our new and returning parents to receive updates from our PnF Executive and Principal.  We will also explain the process for voting for our PnF Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will take place on Thursday 13th March

Healthy Lunch Boxes

I have been discussing school lunches with a number of parents over the past few weeks and thought I would share a few resources from the Cancer Council of Australia, their Healthy Lunch Boxes website resource.  This great resource has a range of lunch box ideas including healthy recipes. 

I’ve also been looking at other great lunch box tips from the Taste website.
