As an IB World School, AIS Indonesia is proud to align with the international standards and criteria prescribed by the IB organisation. The IB Diploma is internationally lauded as the standard for high-quality teaching, pedagogical leadership and student success.
After the rigorous verification process, AIS High School Campus was authorised in 2014 as an official IB World School to offer the IB Diploma to Senior students. AIS Bali campus gained authorisation to commence teaching the IB Diploma Programme in 2018.

AIS Indonesia is the founding member of the Australian International School Association (AISA). AISA is an internationalcommunity for Australian international schools around the world. AISA functions as a supporting body that promotes cooperation and interaction between teaching staff and students in AISA schools, sponsors professional development activities, collaborates in staff recruitment and jointly promotes the advantages of an Australian education in the Asian/Middle East Region.
The Planning and Performance division of the Education and Training Directorate in the Australian Capital Territory, Australia collaborates with AIS to deliver the annual national NAPLAN assessments. NAPLAN assessments provide educational benchmarks for students in Australia on a state by state and a national level. Our inclusion in this program enables us to benchmark our students against these standards.
As a Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK - Joint Cooperation School) School, AIS is licensed and accredited with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture.
In 2017 AIS received an A rating (Akreditasi A) for both Kemang and Bali PAUD - Preschool sections. We expect our Primary school (SD) to undergo accreditation in late 2018 and our High school (SMP and SMA) will undergo accreditation in 2019.
All AIS campuses have an agreement with the South Australian Department of Education and Child Development (DECD) to access child protection resources, staff development courses and teaching programs. DECD provides Train the Trainer courses for key AIS staff to allow them to deliver and certify the Child Safe Curriculum Course.
