AIS Indonesia consists of three schools. The Jakarta school has a Primary Campus in Kemang (PreSchool 3 to Year 6) and a Secondary Campus in nearby Pejaten (Year 7 to Year 12). The other two schools are located in Bali and Balikpapan. The Bali school caters for students from Preschool 2 through to Year 12 while our most recently opened school in Balikpapan provides programs for students from Preschool 2 through to Year 10.

Each of our three schools delivers Australian curriculum content and style, closely following best practice in Australia. Operating on an Australian school year (late-January to mid-December), AIS facilitates a seamless transition for students entering from, or returning to Australian or southern hemisphere schools or tertiary institutions but readily welcomes students from all nations.

AIS teaches a curriculum based on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards framework up until Year 10. Beginning in January 2012 we will be using the new Australian Curriculum guidelines in English, Mathematics and Science. Our senior certification is authorised through the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies in Canberra, Australia. Our students have gained gain access to universities around the world based on results and performance in the Australian Scaling Test (AST) or by individual merit.

We have a strong reputation for providing a diverse, stimulating and inclusive Australian education. Our teachers, from a wide range of international backgrounds, are highly trained and experienced.

Our goal is to encourage critical thinkers, responsible global citizens and students who are prepared to achieve the highest standards, both in their subsequent education and throughout their careers.
