This semester LSC students have been involved in a Life Skills Program and have engaged in some practical activities on planning, shopping, cooking and housekeeping. They learned how to decide the menu for cooking, make a shopping list and go shopping for ingredients, as well as cooking from simple recipes. They also learn how to wash their own clothes by hand, followed by ironing. They also learned how to fold the clothes neatly and properly after ironing them. Before the actual practical lessons, LSC students watched ‘How-to’ videos, read instructions, and did some exercises.

Sung Jun, Kishen and Emilio were engaged in these activities and all enjoyed the tasks. We found out that Sung Jun’s favorite activity is cooking while Kishen also likes hand washing clothes.
