Kids’ Day Event

What a fun day our Kids’ day event was in term 1. It was great to see all year levels enjoying the water activities which had been carefully put together by Year 5/6s .

As part of the assessment of the unit of study ‘Citizens of the World’ Year 5/6 students were required to design an activity for a Kids’ day event for the whole school. They worked well in groups and submitted oral presentations to their classes; six finalists were then chosen to present their entries to the whole year 5/6 level. Students were then asked to vote for the best presentation. Congratulations to the winning team for a magnificent team effort in organizing a fantastic Water fun Day at AIS.
