Inaugural AIS Swim Club Championships

Does an afternoon by the pool with friends followed by a delicious pizza party sound good? This is what greeted the swimmers of the AIS Swim Team who came along to participate in the Inaugural AIS Swim Club Championships.

All swimmers had a fantastic time and swam well. It was great to see the swimmers cheering each other on and offering encouragement and support throughout the competition. Many parents helped out with time keeping, presenting ribbons and a brave few even swam against their children in the ‘Parents verse Swimmers’ relay. Having such wonderful parent support was greatly appreciated by the coaches and made the afternoon all the more special for the swimmers.
