Year 3/4K went to The Playground for a special excursion

On Tuesday the 14th of May Year 3/4K went to The Playground for a special excursion. It was the end of their Humanities unit “Rights and Responsibilities” and they had been learning all about the rights of the child. Meeting them at The Playground were ten orphans aged between four and five years old from the Sayap Ibu Orphanage.

The children took the orphans for a morning of fun in The Playground pushing them on the swings, playing with them on the flying fox, sharing a snack and playing in the water with them. The children were very caring to the younger orphans making sure that everyone was included in the fun and that everyone was being looked after.

We bought KFC for the children from Sayap Ibu and their helpers to have as lunch and they were all smiles as they left.
