Last Day Activities for Term 1
On the 3 rd April 2009, AIS Balikpapan had their regular end of term Assembly and BBQ at the BHC swimming pool. This social event is usually a perfect opportunity for parents and teachers to come together and interact in a relaxed environment. In addition it gives the kids a medium through which they can proudly display the various lessons they have learnt during the term.
Assembly was held in the morning session. The program was filled with various items such as: dancing, singing and presentations, just to name a few. It was so entertaining that even the Head of School and parents eagerly joined in on some of the acts. At assembly the kids were also recognized for their great work over the term. Many students received Honor Certificates, Mathletics certificates and Special Awards. Well done kids! We also said farewell and good luck to Miss Erna.
After Assembly we all packed up and eagerly headed to the pool for an afternoon of great food and great company. It was an enjoyable day and a perfect way to bring down the curtains on Term 1. Thank you to all the parents who joined in the celebration
