WHY AN AUSTRALIAN CURRICULUM

AIS international school delivers an integrated Australian curriculum that is a broad, balanced and challenging program

Australia’s interactive teaching approach encourages direct student participation and develops confidence, critical-thinking and effective communications skills. These skills are highly valued by international tertiary institutions, where great importance is placed on developing the ability to think creatively and independently, read widely and critically, participate in debate and function in teams.

The curriculum used in our international school is based on the new Australian Curriculum (AC) from Preschool through to Year 10. Senior students undertake the International Baccalaureate Diploma program or complete a Senior Certificate in either Jakarta or Bali. AIS is an IB World School.

The school curriculum has been designed to provide educational opportunities that will help every student to reach his or her potential. We provide the ideal learning environment staffed by caring educators dedicated to teaching and nurturing each student’s special talents.

All students are given the opportunity to achieve their personal best and are able to work at their own level in each subject area. The syllabus is adapted and structured to allow our students to sequentially build on their knowledge and experiences.
