Years 3 - 6 Students Visit Taman Safari
On Tuesday, February 12, students from Years 3 - 6 visited Taman Safari as
part of the units for SOSE and Science. It was a very enjoyable day for
everyone, with lots of learning taking place.
Year 3/4 students observed the animals in their enclosures and studied the
habitats. Students from Years 5/ 6 made observations about endangered
animals. Worksheets were then completed and observations were recorded.
Lessons learnt from the visit stimulated class discussions and research
about animal habitats.
