Students from Year 7 and 8 explored still life and abstraction for this task. The project started by reproducing a still life of a flower arrangement as real as they could possibly make it. Then the students had to focus in a certain small area of their still lifeand try to create an abstract acrylic painting from it. The results were very interesting, with an array of colourful and intricate shapes and compositions.
