With Year 1-2 we discussed and analysed the amazing work of artist Georgia O'Keefe. After sketching several different views flowers close up and painting them with watercolours, the children moved on to acrylic on canvas. The final artwork was very successful, especially when it was the first time most of the children had worked with this medium.
